While it may not be one of the world’s largest fashion weeks, it is certainly one of the most popular. As we took a closer look at the street style looks of the attendees, three accessory trends in particular caught our eye.
Aside from the numerous fascinating fashion shows currently taking place in Copenhagen, there’s something else we find at least as exciting: people-watching away from the shows. Cities are rarely so full of stylish people during Fashion Weeks. Three trends in particular caught our eye, trends you might not normally notice.
fringes

Fringes began to make a comeback last year, but have now definitively arrived in street style. Whether on skirts, bags, jackets, or even headwear – this playful detail is everywhere this season. This also gives the Western look a small revival, albeit in a slightly different variation. The best part: fringe can be effortlessly styled from summer to winter, instantly adding movement and a cool boho twist to any outfit.
Statement headwear

The most striking accessories at Copenhagen Fashion Week were undoubtedly headwear of all kinds. Whether hats, scarves, or crocheted caps, the variety was enormous. No wonder this trend kept catching our eye. Especially with loose, slightly wavy hair and a color-coordinated outfit, these special head accessories act as the perfect finishing touch, instantly making even simple looks more interesting.
Braces, braces, braces

Far from being childish, hair clips are one of the easiest ways to instantly elevate even the simplest hairstyle. No wonder they were everywhere in Copenhagen. The most popular style is a sleek bun with several clips placed side by side. But the more understated version we all remember from our younger days is also back: simply pinning your bangs back to the side with one or two clips. A small but impactful detail that instantly adds a playful yet stylish touch to any look.
