Luckily, the maison had another trick up its sleeve for the tenth anniversary of the Escale—and now we get to take a closer look. A new collection of Escale watches just arrived, and the four designs on offer are exactly what you’ll want to reach for each morning if everyday elegance is the name of the game. For our money, the two 39mm rose-gold options are the real standouts—especially the blue-dial option. But if you like a little bling, you can also opt for a 39.5mm platinum case with a meteorite dial or a showstopping combination of platinum, diamonds, and onyx with a 40.5mm diameter.
No matter what you choose, all four designs feature very Vuitton-esque references throughout. For instance, the grained dials of the rose-gold versions nod to the texture of LV’s famous Monogram canvas. The shape of the lugs is inspired by Louis Vuitton trunks—as are the decorative rivets that ornament them. Inside is an LFT023 powering the time-only, three-hand movement, a surprising first in the history of the Escale.
