Rihannas’ Announces Major Partnership With Fenty Beauty In The Paris Olympics And Paralympics

Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty is going to the Paris Olympics and Paralympics, marking one of the brand’s most high-profile premium partnerships yet. Volunteers awarding medals to athletes will receive makeup kits so they can create a “designated look” using Fenty Beauty products, according to a press release. Six hundred volunteers, ranging in ages from 18 to 21, will receive kits and tutorials on how to do their makeup for the global event.

Rihanna just announced an epic deal for her viral beauty brand.

Athletes at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris don’t know if they’ll wind up on the medal podium this summer. But the volunteers presenting the coveted awards do know that their beats will be on point – thanks to Rihanna.

Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty is going to the Paris Olympics and Paralympics, marking one of the brand’s most high-profile premium partnerships yet. Volunteers awarding medals to athletes will receive makeup kits so they can create a “designated look” using Fenty Beauty products, according to a press release. Six hundred volunteers, ranging in ages from 18 to 21, will receive kits and tutorials on how to do their makeup for the global event.

Fenty Beauty will also have its own makeup artists on-site in order to match volunteers to their foundation shade.

The Paris Olympics begin on Friday, July 26, and run through August 11. The Paralympics will start on Wednesday, August 28 and run through Sunday, September 8.

Rihanna spoke to George V Magazine in February 2023 about what she wants her beauty legacy to be—something to which Fenty Beauty’s Olympic partnership only adds. “My mantra has always been and always will be, ‘Beauty is there to have fun with. It should never feel like pressure or a uniform,’” she said. “I hope that carries on, because it’s an incredibly joyful and freeing way to live.”

This is the only interview she did for the new Fenty Beauty drop.

There’s no need to introduce Rihanna to you. Instead, let me fill you in on what she’s been up to: caring for her new baby boy, headlining the Apple Music Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show (her first live performance since 2018), and continuing to release sell-out-within-minutes pieces with Savage x Fenty and Fenty Beauty. 

While the promise of a new album has yet to be confirmed (please, God), here’s Rihanna, in her own words, on traveling, life as a new mom, and her favorite product to look extra-alive.

On Motherhood And Beauty

“Becoming a mother has only added to the inspiration in my life. I’ve had to find the balance between an efficient routine that maximizes precious ‘me’ time and full glam, because I really enjoy that colorful creative process.”

On Inventing A New Lipstick

On Her Long-Flight Beauty Routine

On Why Smelling Good Is So Important

“My mom was the first person to introduce me to beauty and fragrance. I loved her scent, and smelling good was really important to her. It was always the finishing touch before she would go out. On Her Beauty Legacy

In a July 18 post on X, RiRi shared the news that her brand Fenty Beauty inked a deal to become a “premium partner” of the 2024 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.

“tried to tell yall….we outside all 2024!!!” she captioned her post which featured a photo of the singer/entrepreneur in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower holding hands with a life-sized lip gloss tube holding a glass of wine. You heard us, the lip gloss is holding a glass of wine.

According to a press release, Fenty Beauty will provide makeup kits and tutorials for 600 volunteers between the ages of 18 and 21 who will present medals at the games. The kit will include popular Fenty Beauty products including the Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer and the Eaze Drop Lit All-Over Glow Enhancer.

Given the partnership, it wouldn’t be surprising if Rihanna herself made an appearance at the Games. She shared the collaboration news on her personal Instagram as well, writing, “tried to tell yall….we outside all 2024!!! PROUD to announce that @FentyBeauty is a premium partner of the Olympic AND Paralympic Games baby!!! #FentyxParis2024 ????????”

But of course, there were still plenty of fans who wished Rihanna’s latest announcement was about new music instead of a new business deal, leaving comments like:

“girl you’re everywhere besides a recording studio,” “Madame Rihanna where is that album?” and “that’s good mama! now let’s get into the album announcement.”
