Royal fans can rejoice! Next week, Catherine, Princess of Wales, 43, will make their second joint appearance this year with Prince William, 42. According to People magazine, Kensington Palace confirmed on Thursday, February 20, that the prince and his wife will travel to Pontypridd in southern Wales on February 26.

In mid-February, Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, traveled to the Caribbean island of Mustique with their three children. As has now been announced, another trip is planned after the royals return – but in the name of the crown.

Their trip will take place shortly before the Welsh national holiday St. David’s Day, which is traditionally celebrated on March 1st. According to the report, the couple will meet with residents of the city to learn more about local life. In December 2024, the city was hit by severe flooding. They will also visit the city’s historic market and bake typical Welsh cakes together with locals. A visit to a community garden, which was also affected by the floods, is also planned.

Kensington Palace announced that the couple will make a joint visit to Pontypridd in south Wales on Wednesday, February 26, ahead of St. David’s Day on March 1.  The royal couple will meet members of the community affected by the severe flooding caused by Storm Bert and Storm Darragh last December.

They will also visit Pontypridd Market to tour the food hall, help prepare a batch of Welsh cakes and take a tour of a national garden and woodland.
