Laetitia Casta’s Loewe Dress Is Not Simple As It Looks

On September 8th in Paris, Laetitia Casta presented a decidedly sculptural version at the premiere of Call My Agent! (Dix pour Cent), a few days before the film’s release on Netflix. For the Parisian photocall, the actress and model chose Loewe, in a creation designed by the house’s new artistic directors, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. No need for an abundance of accessories: here, the garment itself acts as jewelry. This way of reviving a classic is certainly not unfamiliar to the new Loewe . Since taking over as creative directors, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have championed a more experimental and playful approach, following in the footsteps of Jonathan Anderson . For Fall / Winter 2026-2027, the duo notably explored latex, inflated silhouettes, and three-dimensional constructions. Laetitia Casta offers a much more wearable alternative: a familiar black dress, disrupted by a single statement piece strong enough to completely transform its interpretation.

Lemon yellow awakens the LBD

The second twist comes with a touch of bold lemon yellow, deliberately vibrant, which enlivens the black and accentuates the sculptural structure of the silhouette. This chromatic contrast instantly transforms the little black dress.
