American singer Lady Gaga wrote the musical composition The Dead Dance for the second season of the television series “Wednesday.” For this, she was nominated for a prestigious Emmy Award.
This will be Gaga’s sixth nomination. Last year, Gaga won a Sport Emmy for her song Hold My Hand, which she performed at the Super Bowl.
This time, the singer will compete for an Emmy in the category of “Best Original Music and Lyrics.” She wrote the musical composition The Dead Dance together with Cirkuit and Andrew Watt, who are her regular collaborators.
Gaga dedicated the song to her experiences after a breakup. According to the singer, it’s about what people feel when they break up with their significant other and how a breakup can kill the ability to believe in love again.
