L’Oréal Paris, one of the heavyweight beauty brands in the L’Oréal Group, has named Kendall Jenner as its new global ambassador. The American model is the latest addition to the brand’s list of prestigious muses including Kate Winslet and Leïla Bekthi. “This is undoubtedly one of the biggest announcements in the field of beauty”, says the global beauty giant in a press release, whose desire to appeal to Generation Z is no secret.

Born in Los Angeles in 1995, Kendall Jenner, sister of Kylie Jenner and half-sister of Kim Kardashian, is one of the most influential young women in the world, with 350 million followers on social networks. Her Instagram account is said to be the twelfth most followed in the world.

A model since the age of 13, Kendall Jenner has walked the catwalk for the likes of Prada, Versace and Jacquemus. Kendall Jenner has also worked with fashion brands such as Burberry. The international model has also taken advantage of her status to shine a spotlight on mental health and anxiety issues.

Kendall Jenner will lend her image to the brand’s make-up campaigns from September 2023.
