Keira Knightley Makes Rare Public Appearance In Extravagant Outfit

The Pirates of the Caribbean star accessorized her outfit, which is rumored to have cost around $50,000, with kitten heels. In the new series Black Doves, Keira plays a spy who uncovers the secrets of politicians until she is exposed. Knightley has previously spoken about how juggling work and motherhood helped her prepare for her role as a spy. In an interview with the Radio Times this week, Keira, who has two young daughters Edie and Delilah with husband James Righton, explained how being a mum helped her get into character.

You have two sides to your life. You’re at work, you’re all business, and then your kid calls and you’re like, “Oh, baby, are you okay?” So we do all this, we double-cross each other. For me, it’s like acting out on set, and then praising my daughter, “Oh, you passed your spelling test — I love you so much!”

Knightley also stars in the new series alongside Sarah Lancashire, Andrew Buchan and Ben Whishaw. The thriller will premiere on screen on December 5.
