It’s worth every minute, We knew whatever Jennifer Lopez wore to the 2024 Met Gala would be good. We just didn’t know how good. As co-chair of this year’s event, which was themed “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” the multi-hyphenate had her choice of high-fashion options to meet the “Garden of Time” dress code.

It took over 2.5 million silver foil bugle beads to make and 800 hours of hand embroidery work. Her jewellery is by Tiffany & Co., including a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock ring that has a yellow diamond of over 4 carats, a white diamond of over 4 carats, and pink sapphires.

Impressed? You’ll be even more so after you take a look at it from every angle.

When asked by Good Morning America earlier if she’d “be able to walk” in her look for the 2024 Met Gala, J.Lo responded, “Barely, ever. The Met Gala looks are not about comfort.”

For her beauty look, she went with a chic bun and neutral makeup.

They can be about fun, though. “It’s always a nice time there,” Jennifer Lopez told GMA. “It’s such an interesting mix of artists and business people. It’s not just music or film, it’s everybody—fashion, film, music, business—and you get to have some really interesting interactions.”

Of course, some of those “interesting” interactions likely included her husband, Ben Affleck. The actor didn’t walk the carpet with J.Lo this year, though he’s attended with her in the past.

The 2024 Met Gala guest list this year also included Lopez’s fellow co-chairs Zendaya, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth. Lopez attended a pre-Met Gala dinner with them at Vogue editor Anna Wintour’s home the night before. For that event, the This Is Me… Now artist wore a crystal-studded strapless gown designed by Diana Qerimi and a slick ponytail.
