Even though there are many makeup trends, the classic red lip cannot be left out. Surprisingly, many people hesitate to try red lips. Because the color is so intense, I don’t know how to apply it. If you blindly apply red lipstick all over your lips, you’re bound to fail! For those people, Jennifer Lopez revealed three tips for perfecting a red lip.
First, clean the lip line with a neutral color lip pencil. If you want a fuller, plumper red lip, draw it slightly outward from the lip line.
Once you’ve finished preparing the lines, apply lipstick to the center of your lips. For a neater, more sophisticated finish, simply fill in the remaining lip area with a lip brush.
If you want matte lips, you can finish here. If you want moist and plump lips, apply a balm type lip mask to add volume and you’re done! It’s not as difficult as you think.
Lastly, when creating a red lip, remember that your skin tone must be consistent to make your lips stand out. If you are a makeup beginner, you should minimize eye makeup and blusher to avoid failure.
