It’s an icon for a reason.

It makes sense, then, that the star would want to embrace clothes that move with her as she transitions from one part of her life to another, leading her to team up with DKNY once again to star in the New York-based label’s spring 2026 campaign, which just so happens to feature an iconic barely-there dress from Sex and the City (you know the one). To celebrate the latest collection, Bieber chats with GeorgeVMagazine.eu to discuss how it aligns with her lifestyle, the overlap between New York and Los Angeles style, and where she’s pulling inspiration from these days. You starred in the last DKNY campaign—how do you see this collection as an evolution from the one before it?

This time, the relationship with DKNY feels deeper; I’ve gotten to know the brand and team more, so there is a stronger connection. Something that I think [the brand] does really well is create great statement pieces like jackets and outerwear, along with must-have denim. I think that this new season really builds on that core.

The spring 2026 collection is “designed for life in motion.” What does that mean for you?

For me, it means clothes that could genuinely fit into my life… everything in this collection feels wearable and current.

How would you incorporate these pieces into your wardrobe?

There are so many great pieces that I would definitely add to what I already wear—like throwing on one of the jackets with a great pair of jeans or a good trouser to switch up the look.

With DKNY as a quintessential New York brand and the fact that you’re an L.A. girl, do you have any thoughts on each city’s respective style and where they overlap?

I think there’s overlap as far as each city tapping into effortless style. DKNY really captures the energy of New York; but there’s a simplicity and ease to the clothes that makes them perfect for L.A.

This collection brings back the Sex and the City Naked Dress. How do you feel being part of revitalizing such an iconic dress? 

What makes that dress truly timeless is the silhouette. That shape has transcended so many eras. I love that it is essentially a little black dress but with its own attitude, and it is one of my favorite pieces from the collection. It feels great to wear, and it’s honestly something I’d tell every girl to have in her closet.

Speaking of icons, how do you feel being a style icon for so many people?

I think my focus has always been about the confidence and freedom to play with different looks. Ultimately, your own style comes through when you feel good in what you’re wearing.
