Gisele Bünchen Recreates Her ‘Devil Wears Prada’ Role For Balmain Campaign

After rocking bright, floral-printed pieces for the first part of the fashion house’s Spring 2024 campaign, Gisele is back for a second round — and this time, she’s showing off something a little more “edgy.” In a new series of ads, the legendary model poses in a variety of structured, black looks, all of which featured gold, floral embellishments.

According to a press release, Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing felt Gisele was perfect for the campaign, in part because of her resume, which includes a small role in “The Devil Wears Prada.”

“Just as you’d expect, while working on our floral-centric designs for the Balmain Spring 2024 collection, my team and I kept repeating this brilliantly sarcastic line from our favorite movie.”

“Just to seal the deal, knowing that Gisele had a role in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ was the perfect finishing touch needed to bring us full circle.”

The images show Gisele showing off her toned body and looking ready for the office in a structured suit that was more in line with the suits she wore as the fictional Runway magazine staff member in the film.
