Shorts are to summer what a down jacket is to winter. While last year, the micro-skirt won all the votes to climb the wardrobe ladder, shorts seem determined to dethrone the latter. Which shorts trends should you choose this summer 2024?

After the micro-skirt, come the micro-shorts! The only rule: the shorter it is, the more modern it is. Easier to wear than the no pants phenomenon , which consists of wearing your underwear around town, micro shorts won’t be cold on your eyes this summer. Men’s swimwear is taking over women’s wardrobes to create a sportswear-inspired look. And it’s Miuccia Prada, for Miu Miu, who is the recipe. On the catwalk, swimsuit-style long shorts flourished in vibrant hues ranging from red, acid green, to neon yellow.
