Britain’s Got Talent viewers have been blown away by Amanda Holden’s beautiful black dress for the last of the semi-final live shows. The judge dressed to impress on Friday evening as she appeared alongside Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli for the last of the BGT semi-finals before the big final on Saturday.
Amanda looked stunning as she wore a figure-hugging black strapless dress by fashion brand Yolancris that bared an off-shoulder neckline lined with a glamourous sheer fabric and feather trim. The radio and TV presenter is known for her bold outfit choices but viewers found one particular outfit “unsuitable” for the family-friendly ITV show.
The 53 year old has remained defiant about wearing her racy looks but previously claimed her outfits for the talent show are closely monitored before she steps on to the stage. “There’s now a whole body of people that knock on my door and come and stare at my chest before we go on air,” she explained to George V Magazine last year.
“There’s a t*t committee. There are so many brilliant people, they come down, knock on the door and there’s the lady who’s the producer who said, ‘Mandy, it looks great’.” Here we take a look back at Amanda’s most complained about BGT outfits – including one revealing gown which attracted 633 calls to the regulator.
It also has a lacey midriff showing off Amanda’s toned stomach as the dress then forms into a dazzling fishtail design. The TV star and radio host completed her look with gold earrings and matching bracelets. She also wore her locks brushed back teamed with a glammed-up make-up look for extra elegance.
After sharing Friday night’s look with fans on Instagram, Amanda was instantly met with floods of compliments with one person writing: “Ooh now this is a dress, sexy look number 5.” A second stated: “Absolutely stunning”, while a third simply wrote: “Wow.”
“So very beautiful”, added another.
Amanda’s dress is an exclusive piece meaning the price is unknown. However, you can pick up a dupe from Boohoo for only £32. Pretty Little Thing also has a similar dress embroiled with sequins for an extra sparkle that will set you back £36. Those with a slightly higher budget can grab Amanda’s look for £160 with a black lace bardot feather fishtail dress at Club L.
