A little over a year after the American Jeans campaign that caused quite a stir, the Euphoria star appears without clothes in a new campaign for a sports app and is causing a sensation.
Sydney Sweeney has never been afraid to make headlines.
After confidently exposing her body in the latest season of Euphoria , the actress has been appearing nude since yesterday in a new advertising campaign for Novig, a sports trading and prediction app that has just been launched in the United States.
In the video, the 28-year-old star poses with various sports equipment: soccer and basketballs, a hockey goal, baseball accessories, and even a pool table. This is Novig’s way of highlighting its concept: a platform dedicated exclusively to sports. Naturally, this sexy campaign featuring the female body is already generating a lot of buzz across the Atlantic. Sydney Sweeney immediately offered an explanation in a statement accompanying the ad:
” The campaign was about adopting a fun idea. The concept is simple: cut through the noise and focus entirely on the sport. The campaign brings this idea to life with confidence, humor, and a playful side… “
Note that Sydney Sweeney is also a strategic partner and shareholder of Novig. The platform launched nationwide in the United States last month under a federally regulated scheme. It is restricted to individuals aged 21 and over and applies financial market mechanisms to sports predictions.
“Sports fans deserve a prediction marketplace built specifically for them ,” says Jacob Fortinsky , co-founder and CEO of Novig. “Sydney brought that message to life in a way that couldn’t be ignored.”
This campaign obviously takes us back a year, when Sydney Sweeney caused controversy with her “beautiful genes” to sell American Eagle brand jeans (with a play on words between “genes” and “jeans” ).
It’s also a good way for the star to continue cultivating a scandalous image, while waiting to see her on screen in the Gundam adaptation and in the sequel to The Cleaning Lady.
