Few A-listers can say they reached beauty icon status the moment they appeared on our screens, but it came easy for Jennifer Aniston. Assuming the role of Rachel Green in Friends, the nineties were awash with women trying to replicate her choppy, layered haircut, affectionally dubbed ‘The Rachel’ – it came as no surprise when she launched her own hair brand, Lolavie. Of course, we have learnt ample beauty lessons from Aniston along the way. She’s become synonymous with lit-from-within skin, which speaks to her Cali-girl cool origins – and we’ve pinned down the exact glow-giver Aniston relies on.
In what appears to be the mother of all beauty collaborations, Lolavie and Charlotte Tilbury joined forces over the weekend to showcase the best of their brands, namely ‘glossy hair and glowy skin,’ as the shared Instagram post puts it. During the exclusive event, Aniston and Tilbury came together to ‘reflect on years of their friendship and the passion behind their journeys as founders,’ and to share beauty tricks and tips, of course.
In one crucial moment captured on Instagram, Tilbury is seen giving Aniston a backstage touch-up (what are good friends for anyway?). Using the Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint Hydrating Foundation Stick, £37, Tilbury taps the product on to the high points of Aniston’s skin using her finger tips. ‘Glowing Jen! Smoothing, blurred,’ says Tilbury. While a radiant Aniston replies, ‘dewy, just like a child.’

All jokes aside, post-touch-up Aniston’s skin is full of lustre and a healthy-looking sheen owed much to Charlotte Tilbury’s hero product. Having established itself as the number-one selling foundation stick in the UK prestige makeup market, it’s not hard to see why so many are obsessed with it, including Aniston.
The Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint Hydrating Foundation Stick (also beloved by Sienna Miller) lends a sheer-to-light finish, which can be built up for a ‘supernatural’ coverage that reads more elevated no make-up make-up than full glam. It creates what the brand calls its ‘ring light-effect’, helped by ultra-smoothing and blurring properties. It’s all made possible with a next-gen formula composed of antioxidant-rich vitamin E, plumping daikon radish seed oil, multi-molecular weight hyaluronic acid for layered hydration, the brand’s sculpting Plant-Powered Collageneer™ as well as its Light Mapping Mesh Tech™, which uses micro-fine pearlescent filters to create the ultimate soft-focus blurred radiance for an ethereal finish.
The result? The kind of glow factor that’s good enough for Jennifer Aniston.
