In his debut collection, which he recently presented during Paris Fashion Week, Tron returned to the 1940s and to the sharp tailoring of the house’s founder, Pierre Balmain. The collection was built around strong shoulders, striking coats, and dresses that make you feel like the most powerful woman in the world. The opening look paid tribute to Air France’s first female pilot, Danielle Décuré, who flew in a Balmain-designed uniform in 1975. Tron understands the Balmain woman. He understands her uncompromising character, commanding energy, and the silhouette she favors.

Even though the show took place only a few weeks ago, we are already seeing the first look from the new collection on the streets, this time on actress Anya Taylor-Joy. The actress, whom we will soon see on the big screen in Dune: Part Three, visited the Big Apple as part of the Mario Bros press tour, and we are already excited about the looks to come. Together with her stylist Ryan Hastings, Taylor-Joy chose not to wear Dior this time, a house we often see her in given her role as an ambassador, but instead opted for a new Balmain creation fresh off the runway.

A sleek black top and a leopard-print skirt that draws every eye make for a flawless combination, and the actress styled this dynamic fashion duo with simple black heels and sunglasses in the same shade.

It seems that this season, creations from the Paris runway are making their way to the streets in record time. At the Chanel Pre-Oscars Party, Teyana Taylor wore the coat she had filmed on her phone from the front row during the presentation of Blazy’s new Fall 2026 collection, and now Anya Taylor-Joy has stepped out in her favorite look from the new season as well.
We have no doubt that Anya Taylor-Joy and her stylist Ryan Hastings have big fashion plans for the press tour of the new Dune film, and this time, their choice was Balmain.
