Miu Miu is proving that old clothes definitely do it better. The brand just dropped its latest Upcycled collection with a dreamy campaign starring singer, actress and all-around cool girl Suki Waterhouse. Creative director Miuccia Prada has turned her attention to the ultimate wardrobe archetypes, classic white cotton shirts and khaki canvas chinos, breathing new life into loved, vintage garments sourced from around the globe.

Forget boring basics; these pieces have been completely reinvented. Trousers are chopped up into chic jackets, bustiers and skirts, while sleeves are slashed and pockets are patched with Miu Miu’s signature ribbons and bows. Collars get a cool, aged-leather upgrade and utilitarian surfaces are embroidered with sparkly crystal flowers.

The accessories are just as playful, featuring reconstructed khaki backpacks and matching Plume sneakers topped with customizable charms. Because everything is finished by hand, no two items are exactly alike, so this is perfect for those of you who are striving to be one-of-a-kind. This is the ultimate sustainable flex that celebrates the passing of time with a heavy dose of “It-girl” attitude.

Check out Suki Waterhouse’s star moment above, styled alongside pieces from Miu Miu’s SS26 collection, and head to the brand’s website to shop the looks.
