Bergdorf Goodman is marking the arrival of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s debut collection for Loewe with an immersive store takeover, translating the designers’ first runway outing for the Spanish house into a retail environment on New York’s Fifth Avenue.

“For our debut Loewe collection for Spring Summer 2026, we set out to find a balance between the house’s 180-year history — deeply rooted in Spanish craft — and our own American sportswear vernacular,” said the designers. “The collection was guided by a sun-drenched optimism, a sense of physicality, and color that felt vivid and alive. With it now arriving in New York, and the installations at Bergdorf Goodman taking shape, the moment feels like a kind of homecoming for us.”

The Fifth Avenue windows introduce the collection through a soft yet saturated color palette, juxtaposing vivid ready-to-wear looks, leather goods, and accessories against sculptural displays. Elements such as stacked ceramic-tile benches reference the artisanal materials long associated with Loewe’s store design, while reinforcing the designers’ dialogue between heritage and modernity.

“With a longstanding history of uplifting creative pioneers, Bergdorf Goodman is proud to showcase Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s innovative vision for Loewe with a 360° takeover of our storied New York City store,” said Tracy Margolies, President of Bergdorf Goodman. “For decades our Fifth Avenue windows have served as the ultimate entry point for customers to immerse themselves in the pinnacle of luxury, and this exciting partnership is a testament to our longstanding relationship with Jack and Lazaro, fusing Bergdorf Goodman’s iconic legacy with Loewe’s bold new vision.”

Inside the store, the installation extends the narrative through scenographic elements drawn from the original runway show, including dimensional blocks arranged in saturated tones. These are paired with key looks from the collection, creating a spatial experience that reflects the designers’ focus on structure, movement, and materiality.

“There’s nothing more special than celebrating a creative director’s debut collection, and we are absolutely thrilled to bring Jack and Lazaro’s new vision for Loewe to life at Bergdorf Goodman,” said Linda Fargo, SVP Fashion Office & Store Presentation. “Jack and Lazaro have infused their personal sense of craftsmanship and creative spirit into Loewe’s enduring identity, ushering the brand into the future while upholding the iconic heritage of the house.”

Among the highlights is the introduction of the Amazona 180, a reinterpretation of one of Loewe’s signature bags, alongside ready-to-wear pieces defined by sculptural silhouettes and a palette of yellows, greens, and browns. The collection reflects McCollough and Hernandez’s approach to merging American sportswear references with Loewe’s tradition of leather craftsmanship.

The takeover underscores both the designers’ return to New York and Bergdorf Goodman’s role as a stage for major creative debuts, offering clients an early and immersive encounter with Loewe’s new chapter.
