Tanja Jess (59) Open About The Benefits Of Masturbation: ‘It’s A Piece Of Cake’

Jess (59) made a case for fingering in Bridget Maasland’s (51) podcast Grapes, in which women of a certain age talk about the ups and downs of their shared phase in life.

The conversation also touched on love, sex, and intimacy. Jess, married to Charly Luske since 2008, openly admitted that masturbation is “a piece of cake” for her.

Masturbation is a great sleeping aid

As Bridget listened with fascination, Tanja explained her routine: “You know exactly how your body works and what you like. You feel it right there.” But masturbation provides more than just pleasure.

“I think it’s a really great sleeping aid,” Jess admitted, to which Maasland responded in surprise: “Oh yeah? Still?” Her guest wholeheartedly confirmed: “Yes, especially now at this stage of life.”

Orgasm is a natural sleeping pill

Medical science supports Tanja’s findings: after an orgasm, the body releases hormones such as oxytocin and prolactin, which cause a lethargic, sleepy feeling in both men and women.

Research shows that after an orgasm, with or without a partner, people fall asleep faster and sleep through the night more efficiently.
