Amman: King Abdullah, Greek PM Discuss Developments In Syria

His Majesty the King stressed that the first step to stop the escalation in the region is the immediate cessation of the Israeli war on Gaza. Abdullah called for doubling humanitarian aid to the sector and ensuring its arrival without objection or delay.

His Majesty King Abdullah II received a phone call on Friday from Greek Prime Minsiter Kyriakos Mitsotakis, during which they discussed regional developments, especially the situation in Syria.

During the call, His Majesty stressed that ensuring Syria’s security and stability will enhance the security and stability of the region, pointing to the need to coordinate international efforts in this regards.

The two sides also stressed the importance of continuing efforts to ensure the success of the cease fire in Lebanon.
