The pair lived together in a flat in Chelsea before Kate married Prince William in 2011, while the bond has been reiterated in countless public facing occasions: Pippa was a maid of honour for Kate at the royal wedding in 2011 while Kate played a number of roles at Pippa’s wedding.

Now it has emerged the two sisters recently took a holiday together with their husbands, Prince William and James Matthews, as well as their young children.

They has reported that this time last year, Kate Middleton and Pippa enjoyed a secret skiing holiday in Méribel, which was carefully kept quiet by specialist hospitality staff and PR teams.

Amid the constant pressure and scrutiny of royal life, the pleasure of time in the freeing natural environment of the mountains is no doubt something much to be cherished. The Times wrote, ‘They managed to keep their holiday secret for a few days of fun with their husbands and young children: cosy après-ski lunches together hidden in the snowy forest.’
