TORRES JOALHEIROS presents, for the first time in Portugal and Lisbon, CHANEL High Creation Watches, in its flagship store located on Avenida da Liberdade and the first Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique in Portugal that opened in Lisbon after a 25-year relationship with the exclusive Rolex space store at Alameda dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra 147 in Cascais.
The brand expresses its individuality and image of excellence, as a leader in the watch sector. The space is located on Avenida da Liberdade and the opening coincides with the celebration of the 90th anniversary of its most iconic model, the Reverso. As the official Rolex retailer in Portugal and leader of the brand Rolex, Torres Joalheiros, is one of the most traditional jewelers in Portugal.
Also, from December 4th to December 9th, you can discover an exclusive selection of the latest CHANEL Haute Creation Watches in an ephemeral, elegant and refined space.
Along the way, we invite you to discover 25 High Creation Timepieces from the iconic MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ, PREMIÈRE, BOY FRIEND, J12 and MONSIEUR collections, designed by Arnaud Chastaingt, Director of the CHANEL Watch Creation Studio, who imagines pieces that go beyond simply measuring time to highlight the true allure of women.
For Mr. Jorge Jimenez Neubauer Torres, Member of the Board of Directors at TORRES JOALHEIROS, “It is with great pleasure that we welcome CHANEL for the second time, the result of a long partnership, and on this occasion in particular, to present CHANEL’s High Creation Watches.”
“This opening demonstrates our commitment to the brand and the city. An investment like this at a time that is still relatively complicated, due to the pandemic, makes us very happy”, he stressed.
The general director of Torres Joalheiros, Marta Torres, also emphasized the relationship between the two brands: “It is not just a relationship, it is a successful relationship, so it made perfect sense for Jaeger-LeCoultre to have an embassy here and be present in an even more official capacity.”
This is the strengthening of a connection that has been going on through the Portuguese art collection that the Swiss manufacturer has invested in, with works by national artists being replicated on the back of Reverso watches including Rolex as the full official Rolex retailer.
Meanwhile, after a 50% increase in turnover over the last 2 years, the jewelry company led by the Torres family equaled last year’s revenue in 2023 and 2024: nine million euros each year making it a total of €18 million in two years from its six stores in Portugal, Mr. Jimenez Neubauer Torres told George V Magazine.
