Kim K made her Sneaker Shopping debut for Complex
Even when you’re as famous as Kim Kardashian, there are times when you need to call in a favor.
The Skims mogul joined Complex‘s Sneaker Shopping, where she opened up about her love of Travis Scott’s Nike sneakers and how she’ll reach out to him to make sure she gets her hands on all of his releases. (Scott dated Kim’s half-sister Kylie Jenner and Kim is the aunt to the two children they have together.)
Kardashian describes herself as a bit of a sneaker “snob” and only likes a few different silhouettes, but loves Scott’s Nike designs.
“I’d say the most shoes I have are Travis’. Every colorway, the pinks that just came out — I’m not that girl to call in family favors,” she said. “I just don’t, [but] I had to call to get the Travis pinks. I call and then they show up.”
The highly-sought-after Travis kicks she’s referencing are one half of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Pink Pack,” which are expected to hit retailers in May.
Kardashian now has a sneaker model of her own, as the Skims x Nike Rift Mesh was unveiled last month and will be released on Feb. 5.
The ballerina-inspired footwear was debuted as part of the NikeSKIMS Spring ’26 Collection, which saw BLACKPINK’s Lisa star in the campaign. Kardashian revealed that Lisa was her top pick for a celebrity ambassador to endorse the NikeSkims Rift Satin and, fortunately, she didn’t have to look elsewhere.
Kardashian continued: “She transitioned wearing all black and she dips down and she’s wearing all pink… I thought it was just really clever to use those two colorways and use Lisa.”
