A celebration of the fabrics and colors of vibrant Mexican culture
The parade took place at the Anacahualli Museum, designed by Mexican muralist
Diego Rivera, one of the great architectural jewels of the Mexican capital and home to its large collection of pre-Hispanic art.
Gordon said his creations are inspired by Mexico City, and seek to combine its cultural richness, urban landscapes and overflowing energy.
To strengthen this bond, the designer worked with four indigenous Mexican artisans , who collaborated on the models’ jewelry and embroidery.
The presentation also included among its guests well-known faces from the world of cinema and theatre, such as Mexican actresses Karol Sevilla, Ilse Salas and Yalitza Aparicio .
