President Donald Trump has appointed Katie Zacharia as the new White House press secretary.
She will replace Karoline Leavitt, who resigned from the post in August.
President Donald Trump has offered Katie Zacharia, a senior communications consultant at the technology company behind “Truth Social” and a regular guest commentator on cable news programs, the position of White House press secretary , a White House official confirmed to BUSINESS INSIDER (BI).
Previously, Karoline Leavitt held this position, but resigned in August to spend more time with her young children.
Zacharia did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider.
On the platform “X”, she thanked Donald Trump and other well-wishers.
